A: Yes, we offer a wide variety of professional development opportunities through our very own training academy; Montessori Apprentice Academy. Upon joining the team, you’ll be paired up with a ‘buddy’, who you’ll shadow to become familiar with our ways of working.

A: This is typically a room senior who has many years of experience working within the early years industry. They will go through a training booklet to monitor your progression within the role and give you the best possible start to succeeding within the nursery.

A: Be prepared to discuss your experience and why you want to work at The Little Learners Montessori. We look for candidates who share our passion for early years and can work together in a team environment.

A: DBS stands for Disclosure and Barring Service. All staff members need to have a clear enhanced DBS check. We will cover the cost of this application with the agreement that you will sign up to the Update Service to keep your DBS up to date and accurate. The cost of this service is an annual fee of £13, more information can be found here.

A: Each year, we host a themed Professional Development Day that includes team bonding activities and workshops led by award-winning trainers. These sessions focus on educational discussions, shared learning, and enhancing our team’s skills.

After the workshops, we celebrate with a summer party, featuring dinner prepared by our onsite chef, a DJ, and entertainment. This event not only strengthens our culture but is also one of the highlights of our year.
