Payment

Monthly fees are calculated by multiplying the daily rate by the number of days in the month. This will be displayed clearly on your invoice.

You will be invoiced for the upcoming term, broken down by month. Payment for the next month’s fees is due on the first of the month.
Most childcare vouchers can be used at The Little Learners. We are registered to receive tax-free childcare payments. We are also registered with certain benefit schemes, such as Enjoy Benefits. For more information on payment methods, please contact accounts@thelittlelearners.co.uk.

Upon registration you will be required to pay a £100 non-refundable registration fee.

Funding

Some families are eligible to apply for the Nursery Education Grant (NEG) for 2-year-old children, which entitles the children to 15 hours of free childcare per week. Evidence of your NEG2 code is required. 

The Term After your child turns 9 months of age, working families may be entitled to 15 hours funding per week.

The term after your child’s 3rd birthday, you will be entitled to 15 hours funding per week. 

Some families are also entitled to 30 hours of free childcare per week, with an eligible 30-hour funding code.

Funding Expansion

The Government is vastly expanding childcare support over the next 12 months. In addition to the recently introduced funding for children aged 9 months to 2 years old, from September 2025 working parents with a child from 9 months up to the school age may be eligible for 30 hours funding.
